Charles Brewer

Charles Brewer is the founder and was the Chairman and CEO of MindSpring Enterprises, Inc. He founded MindSpring in 1994, and it became one of the largest Internet service providers in the United States. Throughout its history MindSpring was consistently rated #1 in customer satisfaction and won many awards including the J.D. Power Award for customer satisfaction. In February of 2000 MindSpring merged with EarthLink, creating the second largest Internet Service Provider in the country. Charles served as Chairman of EarthLink until August of 2000. He serves on the Board of Directors of Humana, Inc., the Board of Directors of the Midtown (Atlanta) Alliance, and the Board of Councilors of the Carter Center. Charles Brewer is a founder of Green Street Properties, a real estate development company dedicated to creating great places for people to live, work, and play. An animal lover, Brewer is fond of rotweilers and acknowledges the special role his pets play in his life.
